Good service and communication
courteous, friendly, helpful staff
The service was easy to book and I didn't have to arrange it weeks in advance. My mileage varies quite a lot, so it was important to be able to arrange the service at short notice.
Generally I am satisfied with the service given by Knights South Staffs. Could have been a 5... see following reasons

The team there always look after my wife and I extremely well. While I object to a 1200 mile run in service, that's not down to the team. They are always personable, efficient and are very clear with anything that needs attention on the car.
As I travel a lot it is helpful that BMW can pick the car up and return it.

The two young ladies who I interacted with on the day were very polite, friendly and very welcoming so I was very pleased.
The foreman test drove the car and listened to what I had to say as the fault was intermittent and not easy to replicate without getting the car hot

I am still waiting for a requested quotation for paintwork repairs even after contacting the Service Department a week after my car was in the workshop for the change of tyres from winter to summer ones
I had a warning light regarding my run flat tyres so pulled off the motorway. I couldn't add air to the tyre so I went to the local BMW dealership for support.
The stop/start did not work and I was required to return to dealer - the battery was replaced under warranty
As well as the service I asked for two things: 1. they were not able to fix the digital clock during the service. 2. I asked for a quote to get the speed limit information on the dashboard. This was not provided.
Excellent customer service from the two girls on the front desk - very friendly and polite.
As an older woman I cannot check my tyres myself and I asked if they could do this for whilst the car was in for an mot and new brakes. This request was met with s cheery smile and a yes of course - very impressive

Attentive booking in process and very polite and convenient drop-off back home to allow me to continue working whilst the service was carried out
I went in for a puncture and BMW damaged my car wing in the workshop. It was only when I insisted that I need the car to go to an appointment I was informed about the damage Two Hours after I arrived for a simple tyre/puncture replacement.

Service was fine. But £10 charge for a courtesy car is plain old fashioned penny pinching and leaves a sour taste. Never been to a dealership that charges before, and won't visit here again for this simple reason!

End of warranty inspection, MOT and BMW recall for child seat belt anchor modification. Told 3 days work involved so a complimentary loan vehicle would be provided. Bill presented to me was not as previously agreed. MOT certificate not with paperwork

Karl offered a great experience from the start. He collected me from the local rail station, offered coffee and explained all the options and paperwork in detail. Then he sat with me in the car for some considerable time to go through the controls.
